Job Description 1

The IT Co-Op will work alongside the IT Manager and support staff to provide on-site support. The primary goal is to maintain all PC’s, servers, software, and hardware to ensure seamless use throughout the site.

Core Responsibilities

Configure new PC’s, hardware, and software for new users. Configure workstations for USB & SSB Engineering and all PC’s for training rooms.
Respond to general help desk calls.
Assist in yearly IT hardware audit/backup audit.
Assist with new server and switch configurations.
Assist with the implementation of Salesforce.
Transfer data and video cards for USB & SSB Engineering.
Work out wireless communications for projectors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Enrolled in an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or another related degree of study.
Minimum GPA 3.0
Prior experience in a relevant IT/Computer discipline is desired.
Relevant exposure to various hardware and software applications.
Some proficiency troubleshooting and installation desired.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate and communicate with various departments.
Must commit to 3 months (May-August) or 6 months (July-December)

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20 to $21.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
