The IT Co-Op will work alongside the IT Manager and support staff to provide on-site support. The primary goal is to maintain all PC’s, servers, software, and hardware to ensure seamless use throughout the site.

Core Responsibilities

  • Configure new PC’s, hardware, and software for new users. Configure workstations for USB & SSB Engineering and all PC’s for training rooms.
  • Respond to general help desk calls.
  • Assist in yearly IT hardware audit/backup audit.
  • Assist with new server and switch configurations.
  • Assist with the implementation of Salesforce.
  • Transfer data and video cards for USB & SSB Engineering.
  • Work out wireless communications for projectors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or another related degree of study.
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Prior experience in a relevant IT/Computer discipline is desired.
  • Relevant exposure to various hardware and software applications.
  • Some proficiency troubleshooting and installation desired.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with various departments.
  • Must commit to 3 months (May-August) or 6 months (July-December)

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20 to $21.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
