Intern in Cabin Product Business Development (d/f/m)

We are looking for an Intern (d/f/m) in the Cabin Product Business Development team to help us define and implement new products and business models for all Cabin Products across all Airbus commercial aircraft programmes. Are you looking to shape the cabin experience of tomorrow?  Then apply now!

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Help to coordinate Cross-Programme business development activities (customer desirability, business viability, technical feasibility).

  • Maintain and build business relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Support product strategies across Programmes (Linefit/Retrofit) aligned with market requirements. 

  • Support on key strategic projects, including harmonization between Programmes.

  • Support decision process of Business Model and Make/Buy/Partnering policy.

  • Contribute to Business cases incl. go-to-market model, fixed, variable costs, Single- and Cross-Programmes; right-to-use Intellectual Property, generated revenues.

  • Contribute to linefit/retrofit strategy for related cross-Programmes Cabin Commodities including main industrial processes.

  • Facilitate interface with project development teams for new products/programmes.

  • Work with Marketing on the key market requirements (customers, competitors, environment).

  • Support inputs consolidation with the support of the project leader for the preparation of all the gates and project milestone reviews and propose a decision dossier to all Programmes (including Customer Services). 

 Desired skills and qualifications
  • Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of General or Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or Business degree or an equivalent field of study.

  • Interest in Programme Management, Engineering, Finance, Marketing or Procurement.

  • Basic knowledge of Project Management.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of Cabin would be a plus.

  • High degree of motivation and proven presentation & communication skills.

  • Passion to drive improvement & innovation to concrete results.

  • English at negotiation level.

  • Knowledge of German or French would be a plus.

 

Skills to be acquired or developed:

  • Familiarization with Aircraft Cabin interiors (A220, A320, A330, A350)

  • Awareness of Cabin innovation development process,

  • Awareness of Customer needs/Technical constraints/Business aspects
