As a Mission Systems Operator (MSO)/Airborne Mission Commander (AMC) III, you will be using your skills and expertise to support our overseas operational missions using Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles. SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, and RADAR to acquire, track, and monitor airborne, ground, and/or maritime objects of interest in routine and dynamic target area searches and performing pre-flight, inflight, and post-flight duties..The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Responsibilities:
- Execute all assigned preflight, flight, post flight, and Mission planning duties that are required to operate an assigned sensor suite safely and effectively.
- Mission system inspection, operation, troubleshooting, debriefings, intelligence product preparation and distribution, and mission documentation.
- Provide analysis and distribution of multi-source information via on-board aircraft communications systems.
- Responsible for collecting and analyzing information while safely and effectively functioning as an aircrew member on a multi-position aircraft.
- Selected candidates will primarily work with SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT, and/or RADAR systems.
- Develops and verifies procedures for use with new aircraft features; develops operational and safety procedures and training syllabus courseware for internal and external customers.
- Establish and maintain all required flight qualifications for this position.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- This is a Deployed rotational position.
Must-haves:
- Bachelors degree in a related field of study and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience, including military training, may be considered in lieu of required education
- Progressive experience with CRM and Airmanship
- 2000&43; hours of flight time in deployed operations
- Advanced knowledge of Small Secure Datalink (SSDL) radio functionality
- Advanced experience with ORM and CRM Airmanship.
- Experience with the practical application of SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, and/or RADAR.
- Tracking and Mapping software
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and flexibility.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with the practical application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required.
- Must be willing to travel CONUS off rotation to perform Training, Medical, and Certification renewals.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI is required.
- U.S. Citizen with U.S. Passport.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations.
Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:
- Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
- Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Provide support in a high OPTEMPO environment, meeting or exceeding required Mission Capability in austere conditions.
- Candidates hired for this position will be subject to a post offer, pre-hire, pre-deployment medical assessment to include FAA Class III Physical and Altitude Chamber.
- Ability to pass a FAA/Military Pilot Background Check and mandatory drug and alcohol screen.
- SERE 150 training may be required
Preferred:
- Advanced knowledge of Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) functionality.
- Experience with encryption equipment and materials.
- Experience with Multi-Level Aircraft Stacks utilizing ROZ & TEZ tactics, MEDEVAC/CSAR, Direct Action (DA) Raids, Air Warden, HAF/GAF, INFILs, Route/CIED Scans, laser procedures, Troops in Contact (TIC), and CAS stack TTP’s.
- Experience as Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), Air Traffic Control (ATC), ISR Tactical Controllers (ITCs).
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures (FGOP).
- Prior experience with CRM/ORM.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military Operations.
- Previous OCONUS deployment experience in remote locations.
