What the job is …

We are the process & performance management team for our operational Customer Order Fulfillment (COF) teams, responsible for improvement projects, process mapping,  training, performance management, data analytics, process automation and operational key user support. 

Today the team consists of over 20 people located in Hamburg, Copenhagen, Singapore and in the US.

Due to the complexity of our tasks, we have various different job titles in the team, e.g. Business Product Owner, Project Manager, Process Improvement Manager, Performance Manager, Data Analyst as well as Automation Manager.

Our mission is to support our operational colleagues in their daily business and to improve Customer Order Handling (COH) processes both on a small and large scale - always keeping an End to End (E2E) View.

About the role…

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Products and Communication team. We are looking for an enthusiastic product owner to be responsible for the customer products that are handled by the COF (Customer Order Fulfillment) team.

You will be working on a team of: product owners, project managers and change and communication managers located in Hamburg, Singapore and Herndon. You will have to closely interface and coordinate with process owners,

data analysts, key users and process automation managers.

As a Product Owner you will work from a business perspective to support business tools from a COH perspective and always putting the customer first!

You will take over the stakeholder management for the products to ensure smooth communication with all product stakeholders in all regions. You along with the rest of the team will be responsible to deliver and evolve the customer portal (Satair Market), the ticketing system (Freshdesk) and our AI technology (LILLY) for Satair. 

In the scope of the COH Transformation programme you will support the initiatives if they are to be delivered via a business tool. Such as assisting in setting up a customer self service platform. You will always strive for standardized, harmonized and integrated solutions between channels, regions and teams.

The key challenge of your role will be to lead and rollout initiatives which are related to the customer business tools. In order to achieve that you will be part of a skilled team in process management, communication, data and performance management as well as automations.

Your/your team’s responsibilities

  • Be responsible to lead and deploy changes/projects with internal and external stakeholders while keeping the customer’s perspective in mind

  • Helping to support the COH Transformation Programme

  • Evolve and improve customer products as project manager/product owner, always driven by efficiency and customer satisfaction KPIs in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (customers)

  • Stakeholder management and close collaboration with product and project stakeholders in all regions

  • Collaborate with your colleagues to drive the change related to projects within our organization and with our stakeholders

  • Train and create awareness on our customer products and deliver product support

  • Build and create customer focus groups in order to involve our customers into changes early in the process to get their valuable feedback and deliver meaningful solutions for our customers

  • Ensure the usage of digital applications, robotics and data analytics within the products 

  • Help to drive the holistic picture of end-to-end workflows across the company

As we are a global team with our footprint in Europe, Asia and America, your job will require travel up to 20.

  • Experience in customer service organizations and with direct customer interactions

  • Have a digital flare to be able to understand and enable the digital growth for the customer tools 

  • You have a personal interest to drive the change based on product knowledge and customer needs

  • Understanding of a Business Owner/Product Owner and/or Project Manager 

  • Project management experience (waterfall or agile)

  • Knowledge about Product Lifecycle management for digital products

  • Data driven decision making

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business units and regions to build good working relations, trust & confidence

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • You are an enthusiastic team player, work in autonomy and have a business oriented mindset

  • You have a self-responsible attitude to drive and achieve agreed objectives

  • Great communication skills, and speak and write English fluently

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
