Your location

Your tasks and responsibilities
Definition of requirements of the liquid cooling system of the ZEROe fuel cell system
Development of system components and integration into the overall system
Specifying component and system test strategies, supporting the test team
Management of system and equipment supplier
Carrying out or instructing colleagues in the implementation of complex and/or extensive concepts as part of work packages
Carrying out development work, e.g. designing systems/assemblies/devices with a variety of functions and links
Develop specialist concepts for systems/assemblies/devices and ensure feasibility. Design (have) constructive solutions and coordinate with internal and/or external development partners, assess constructive results. Check drawings or data sets, ensure or arrange documentation
Responsible for the implementation of work packages and technical contact for the customer
Carrying out analyzes using existing or self-developed software tools, as well as optimizing and further developing solutions, including evaluation
Carrying out/supporting experiments, i.e. preparing and, if necessary, further developing experimental setups and facilities for systems/assemblies/device
Testing and measuring devices, evaluation the test results
Support of know-how transfer
Preparation of necessary documentation and presentations of the work results
Responsible for creating the technical parts of extensive offers and company presentations
Taking on functional and/or project-related tasks in projects (e.g. technical project planning, topic responsibility)
Carrying out lectures and presentations, as well as creating publications
Required qualifications
The work task requires knowledge and skills, which are usually provided by a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent, a standard period of study of more than 4 years with a degree and related subject-specific additional qualification or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways
Required skills
Experience in the field of system engineering and thermal management in the aviation industry
Profound knowledge and experience in the areas of responsibility mentioned above
Profound knowledge in system development processes and equipment qualification
Experience in definition of V&V strategy
Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn new things
Team player, organized and autonomous person with good communication skills
Very good written and spoken German and English
