We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic high school student to join our team as a Summer Intern at StandardAero. This internship program offers an exciting opportunity for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry. As an intern, you will have the chance to work alongside industry professionals, participate in real-world projects, and learn about various aspects of aircraft maintenance and operations.

What you’ll do:

• Learn to use specialized tools and equipment used in aircraft maintenance, and assist with tool inventory and maintenance activities.
• Shadow experienced technicians and engineers to gain insights into aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to established safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned projects and tasks within designated timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance your understanding of the MRO industry and develop relevant skills and competencies.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in high school, entering junior or senior year preferred.
• Strong interest in aviation, aerospace, or related fields, with a desire to learn about aircraft maintenance and operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
