Required Qualifications:

  • Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes

  • High School Diploma or GED

Skill Level:

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic understanding of blueprints and specifications

  • Basic math skills

  • Basic ERP skills

Essential Functions & Responsibilities (definition of job):

  • Ability to mix various paint ratios and testing paint to determine proper mixture

  • Paint a wide variety of products with a range of finishes and processes

  • Use of basic hand tools and measuring devices

  • Utilize spray guns, paint cans, and touch-up guns to finish product (Fine adjustments as needed)

  • Prepare materials for painting by cleaning, masking, bead blasting

  • Operate high and low temperature ovens

  • Monitor airflow and oven charts

  • Perform daily machine preventative maintenance, changing filters as necessary

  • Must become FAA certified to support Repair Station, subject to FAA/DOT random drug and alcohol screening

  • Ability to become a certified waste handler

  • Perform in-process visual inspection of units before and after product is painted

  • Calibrate hydro carbon equipment weekly

  • Ability to manually paint using 5 pound paint gun for extended period of time

  • Ability to interpret instructions from CMM’s

  • Respirator certification

  • Ability to work with hazardous materials and tolerate heat

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Maintain extensive shelf life logs

  • Additional PPE required as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Past experience with industrial, commercial, or residential painting

  • Past manufacturing experience

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
