Job Description:
Worldwide Jet Charter (WWJ) continues to dominate the Learjet 60 market in Teterboro, NJ (KTEB). We are currently hiring Lear 60 Captains who are typed, qualified, and meet the Wyvern/Argus minimums listed below.


Our pilots average 500 hours a year working a 14/7 flex schedule that shifts to meet trips. You will have 120 scheduled days off in the year and be expected to work 245 days. This is a demanding job that requires pilots that are flexible and can pick up a phone and get the aircraft in the air safely within two hours during ASAP calls. It requires individuals that can handle pressure, manage workload, prioritize and work efficiently. WWJ provides a workplace that allows transition into larger fleets, we value seniority, pay raises are primarily performance-based.


Salary: 135K for Experienced Lear 60 Captains that meet ARGUS, Wyvern, EJM and Sentient PIC times (see below) and who reside within 45 minutes driving time of KTEB. Must be living or willing to move within the range.


Schedule: 14 DAYS ON/7 DAYS OFF (FLEX SCHEDULE, 245 days ON and 120 days OFF calendar year)
14/14 schedule available at prorated pay
Job Requirements:
  • Candidates MUST have:
  • ATP license with Lear 60 type
  • FAA First Class Medical
  • 4000+ TT, 3000+ PIC, 3000+ MEL, 2000+ MEL PIC, 250+ LR60 PIC
  • Valid US Passport
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • No significant accidents, incidents or enforcement action in the last 3 years
  • Proficient in computer operations and software (internet, email, database)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to perform service operations outside and in extreme temperatures and inclement weather
  • Ability to manage rest and perform red-eye flights and pop-up ASAP flights when needed and rested
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy lifting
  • Travel extensively and sit for extended periods of time
  • Education and training to obtain required licenses and certificates
  • Communicate clearly and timely up and down the chain of command
  • One year training agreement (one-time) for recurrent training at CAE DFW
  • Must be able to pass a Lear 60 recurrent course
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • PRIA background check (to include any incidents/accidents)
  • Credit check
  • DMV check with valid driver's license
  • Employment verification
  • Criminal history and fingerprint check
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (during indoc)
