Air Force Fun is a locally owned and family operated helicopter tour company searching for a pilot to join our crew. Opening is available for part time (2-3 days a week) or full time (4 days a week). Our hours of operations are 10 am to sunset, 7 days a week, from two unique heliport locations in the thriving Orlando tourist district. Check out airforcefun.com to view tour options and locations.

In addition to pilot qualifications listed below, we are seeking personable and safety oriented candidates. Shifts are 8-12 hours during peak months, working closely with ground crew and the public. Safety and customer service are always top priority while working in a fast paced environment. 
 
Candidates must have flexible schedule and availability on weekends and holidays, specifically April-August (peak season), and reliable transportation and relocate to Orlando, FL. Duties include daily cleaning of aircraft, refueling, keeping flight logs and aircraft inventory parts up to date. 
 
Pay rate is $22.00/hr plus tips.
 
Candidates must be available for interviews to be conducted in person, which may consist of a 2 part evaluation including R44 and FAA regulation ground questions and a test flight.

Job Requirements:
  • Valid FAA Commercial Pilot license
  • Current FAA Class II (or higher) Medical Certificate and R44 SFAR
  • Completed the Robinson Safety Course within the last 8 years
  • Minimum 500 hours Rotorcraft PIC 
  • Minimum 100 hours PIC Robinson R44
  • No accidents, incidents or FAA violations in last 10 years.
  • Must be personable and enjoy interacting with the general public 
  • Able to communicate well with operations and maintenance team members
  • Bilingual candidates (fluent in Portuguese or Spanish) preferred
  • Position participates in FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, and bend, stoop and able to reach over shoulders
  • Must currently meet weight requirement of less than 225lbs
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess work permit at time of application
