Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Sales Associate to join our team.

Job Duties:

  • Promote sales to existing clients, as well as identify and solicit potential clients for route penetration and launch; via cold calling, networking functions, and existing client relationship management;
  • Involvement with identified community or industry organizations.  
  • Attend trade shows, networking functions and other industry events to promote the aviation group and to build meaningful community and client relationships;
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve territory objectives for all PAL Airlines, and Air Borealis, as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Respond to client inquiries, requests or issues. Working with various internal departments to ensure customer needs are met;
  • Identify and assist in the development of product improvements for PAL Airlines scheduled service and cargo operations;
  • Analyze current sales records, related business trends, and market development that demonstrates the benefits of PAL;
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales Manager to develop contracts that meet client needs, while achieving PAL objectives;
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, travel agency partners, and community organizations and provide ongoing support;
  • Identify and assist in the execution of new sales and marketing strategies;
  • Work with the Charter management group on leads, sale execution and market development;
  • Work with the Marketing Division in executing sales campaigns and community events;
  • Work within Amelia and the GDS systems to support clients. 
  • Track commercial, cargo and charter account performance. 
  • Travel to other markets for sales;
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary schooling in a related field is preferred
  • Experience in Sales
