If you are passionate about reaching new heights, teamwork and making a meaningful contribution, you may be a great fit for the Air Canada team!  This role is responsible for contributing revenue generation, responding customers need promptly, courteously, and professionally and assisting Sales Account Managers in day-to-day businesses. 
The Sales Support & Group Desk Agent position is also a great career opportunity to grow within Air Canada.

Responsabilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from contracted Leisure travel agencies, TMCs and Corporates while offering the highest level of customer service, and providing information regarding flights, fares, destinations, special offers and other products.
  • Handle group booking inquiries/requests and other special requests from travel agents.
  • Coordinate with Revenue Management teams at HQ to maximize Japan PoS revenue.
  • Handle agency/corporate contracting processes with Sales Account Managers.
  • Report marketplace intelligence and collect OAs’ competitive information.
  • Make joint sales calls with Sales Account Managers to business partners such as travel agencies, TMCs and corporates.
  • Help promotional events/seminars conducted by sales team.
  • Help and support office administration.
  • Provide timely resolutions to customer inquiries, including concerns and/or issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in administration or the equivalent.
  • Previous airline or travel industry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications and internet.

Working Conditions:

Right to live and work in Japan without restrictions.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest, at the time any offer of employment is made and seeking any required work permits/visas or other authorizations which may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position.
