| Job Desc: |
Must have high school diploma or GED.
·Protect and mask aircraft surfaces as directed.
·Assist in applying paint stripper and corrosion-preventive chemicals to aircraft surfaces.
·Assist in washing aircraft surfaces.
·Assist in moving aircraft components in and around the paint area. Implement safety procedures to avoid scratches, dents, or other damage.
·Correctly use Dual Action sanders to sand metallic and composite surfaces.
·Correctly apply epoxy primer to prepared aircraft surfaces.
·Correctly and safely operate hydraulic lift platforms.
·Set up spray equipment for most efficient application of paint.
·Apply sealant to aircraft surface seams.
·Paint various external markings (exit borders, wingwalk outlines, etc.).
·Mask and prepare interior items for paint.
·Use the AIM system to produce picklists and enter daily labor against correct Work Order and item numbers.
·Possess a working knowledge of the Gulfstream Aerospace Policies and Procedures manual, Inspection Procedures manual, GAMP requirements and pertinent Process Specifications required for other product lines.
·Work with Haz/Mat Disposal Coordinator. |
