Located in Honolulu, HI. Full Time position, must work flexible shifts / hours. Job requirements: A&P License. Thorough knowledge of Part 135/121 FAR requirements.3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Removal, installation, assembly and testing of all types of avionics systems and wiring. Troubleshoot Radars, Autopilots, Navigation systems. Also, Radios. Complies with Federal Aviation Administration Rules and Regulations; must keep informed of changes in methods, standards and specifications by reading service bulletins, equipment manuals, regulations, instructions and technical trade data. Conforms to Company Safety Standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for an Avionics Technician that can work with minimal supervision and present him/herself.
Must have 3 years of recent experience performing avionics installation and modification or working in an avionics back shop environment. FAR 91.411 - Altimeter system and altitude reporting equipment tests and inspections, FAR 91.413 - ATC transponder tests and inspections, and FAR 43 requirements. Candidates must have their own tools. The candidate must be able to read blue prints and schematics. We prefer experience on the following aircraft models are Beach 1900C, Shorts 330/360 and Cessna 208 series aircraft but, not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a great deal of experience in an out station environment.
Hours based on overall business needs, generally M-F evenings & weekends. A&P Certification required with 3 years previous experience required. Previous line maintenance in a 121/135 environment. C208, experience preferred. Good troubleshooting techniques required.
