Johnson Service Group specializes in assisting firms bridge their engineering and technical personnel gaps quickly and efficiently. With regional offices throughout the United States, JSG has been meeting the engineering and technical staffing needs of clients throughout the world since 1983.
Plans production facilities and equipment layouts; determines the most efficient sequence of operations and work flow; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases fo production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Apply principles of the Toyota Production System to lean out assembly processes in a high rate aircraft structures program. Key responsibilities will be to apply TPS principles to create a continuous process flow, to level out the workload and to develop standardized tasks and processes. Will work under the general supervision of a Lean specialist.
Requirements:
Successful candidate will typically have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and six years of related experience.
