| Job Desc: |
The QA Analyst - Process Control Technician (PCT) is responsible to the Manager of Aerostructures Manufacturing Quality Control for the overall operation of the Process Control Lab, maintenance of M7 Aerostructures Manufacturing special processes to industry and customer standards, and maintaining Process Control Work Instructions. In addition, the PCT will assist in training and qualification of personnel as directed to perform and/or inspect special processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Heat Treat. Conducting temperature uniformity surveys, system accuracy testing, coupon testing, etc.Prime & Paint. Coupon analysis, assist with maintenance of records for paint mixtures.Chemical Coating. Sampling and record keeping of weekly concentration testing.Welding. Ensure that M7 practices meet industry and customer standards.Plating. Solution checks as required. Coordinating with outside labs.Review of industry or customer process standards to ensure current and/or newly implemented processes meet the standards.Analysis of testing data as required.Coordinate with outside laboratories for testing requirements that cannot be met utilizing M7 equipment.Assist in training and qualification of production and inspection personnel.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:
High school graduate or GED required with some advanced education / training courses preferred. Use of blueprints, specifications, advanced shop math, use of all appropriate test equipment.
EXPERIENCE, SKILL, AND KNOWLEDGE:
Prefer three (3) to five (5) years experience in aircraft manufacturing or related equivalent industry. |
