Job Desc:

Responsible for but not limited to the following:

Ensure Interior Shop work is being accomplished in accordance with proper FAA regulations.
Have working knowledge and expertise in seat and interior component repair
Recommend and implement process improvements
Oversee preliminary inspections and teardown reports.
Prepare and review work orders and releases of incoming aircraft sub assemblies such as seats, seat replacement parts, seat electronics, galleys, galley components, PSU‘s, dividers, side wall panels, carpet, and curtains.
Coordinate with project managers and purchasing to ensure all parts have been ordered for projects.
Create,monitor, and update project schedules and coordinate with all other departments to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Coordinate hardware and part order sheets.
Attend and manage production meetings as required.
Supervise various Interior personnel and departments.
Coordinate with leads for proper personnel assignment, keeping all delivery schedules while taking facility workload into account.
Monitor and track all incoming certification paperwork, manuals, etc. for aircraft interior components.
Review all work orders while jobs are in progress.
Oversee labor hours and manage project travelers
Quality control, auditing, root cause, and corrective action
OTJ Training and records

Requirements:

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
HS diploma required.
College degree or Tech school desired.
3-10 years aircraft interior repair modification and fabrication experience required.
Need to have dynamic leadership,management, and organizational skills.
Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience in a deadline-oriented environment.
Strong understanding of man hour allocation and management for various seat & interior departments to include; Upholstery, Sewing, Fabrication, Repair, etc. Knowledge of lean or efficiency techniques is a plus.
