| Job Desc: |
Summary: Performs all aspects of aircraft and shop maintenance as required by pertinent technical directives to return aircraft communication systems and components to a serviceable condition. Performs on the-job training requirements for assigned trainees. Specific Duties: * Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and overhauls aircraft communication systems and components using appropriate military and commercial directives. * Component overhaul is defined as disassembly, inspection, replacement of defective internal components, reassembly, alignment, calibration and testing whereby the final product will appear and function like new and meet or exceed the manufacturer‘s specifications or requirements. * Performs on-the-job training in accordance with RSAF directives.
