JOB DESCRIPTION Cost Analyst, Senior Description Responsibilities: • Financial and proposal modeling using Prophix™ • Mergers and Acquisition due diligence • Projects like unifying and financial integration of all business units • Market information, collection and intrinsic financial analysis • Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis Will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for determining, reporting and analyzing business unit sales, long-term contracts receivables, contract loss reserve status, backlog and related information. Coordinate the collection, auditing and coding for reporting of sales & cost of sales data, investigate variances in general ledger accounts as well as project detail records. Interact with government and customer audit agencies with regard to financial compliance to standards. Requirements Requirements: Must have at least 5 years experience as a Cost Analyst in aviation/aerospace service and repair environment, and a work style that is not afraid to dig into detail. Must have experience in aviation/aerospace environment accounting, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), DCMA, DCAA, FAR, CAS compliance and government and customer financial audits. Must be fluent in Excel and PowerPoint. Requires strong analytical ability and interpersonal skills, long-term accounting knowledge, EVMS, DCAA, advanced computer spreadsheet/graphic skills and mainframe computer query ability. Familiarity with integrated mainframe systems, mainframe query language, “long-term contract accounting”, and exposure to budgeting software is desired. Education: B.A. Accounting or equivalent
