| Job Desc: |
Responsible for providing technical support for Willis Lease during Lease Engine Returns, Engine Shop Visits and Engine Purchases to ensure the engines meet all FAA/EASA and Willis Lease requirements. The Technical Services Representative provides the main on-site interface between the Customer, the MRO and Wills during the crucial lease return process. This position requires the Representative to travel to the location of the engine or the records to accomplish the return, shop visit or purchase.
Responsibilities:- Utilize the Willis Lease “Lease Return In Shop Check List” to perform the requirements of an engine lease return at remote locations.
- Work with the Customer directly to coordinate the on-site visit to complete the lease return.
- Ensure work performed during the lease return is complete and complies with FAA, EASA, CAAC and Willis requirements.
- Attend test cell run on assigned lease returns to ensure engine performance meets return requirements. If performance issues arise, the Technical Representative is responsible for coordinating resolution with the MRO, Customer and Willis Lease.
- Attend assigned Post Test Borescope inspections to ensure serviceability of engine prior to return, and to advise Willis Lease if any defects are noted.
- Perform detailed inventory of the engine at end of lease to ensure all items shipped with engine at start of the lease are returned at the end of the lease If any differences are noted, the Technical Representative will work with the customer to acquire certification of installed units and replacement of missing parts.
- Review for accuracy and make copies of all data generated by the repair shop during the lease return so that the engine may be leased again in a timely manner.
- Perform completed and detailed records review for engines Willis Lease is considering for purchase and ensure the seller has corrected any noted errors.
- Perform the following during an engine shop visit:
- prepare workscope
- provide repair shop with all needed data for shop visit
- Manage all aspects of repair to ensure compliance with workscope
- review invoice and manage disputes, if any
- disposition all unserviceable material
- ensure engine is properly packaged
- Assist in any other technical function to support the portfolio as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

| Requirements: |
- A&P license preferred. Minimum “P” required.
- 5+ years of airline or private engine shop experience.
- Experience with the CFM56 Series, PW 4000 94” and 100”, CF6-80 & 50, CF34 Series, RB211-535E4, and PW 2000 engine models.
- Strong background in engine records. Position requires knowledge of Life Limited Parts status reports (Chapter 5) and Airworthiness Directive status reports.
- Test cell, Engine overhaul and Borescope experience required.
- Able to travel on short notice and for extended periods globally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with different levels of management as well as different cultures.
