Multiple Locations: Victorville, CA; Greenville, MS; Amarillo, TX
Responsibilities:
- Interacts with Maintenance and Paint Supervisors, Paint Leads, and maintenance and paint technicians performing aircraft maintenance, servicing, ground handling and painting functions.
- Perform and document multiple daily technical inspections
- Aircraft inbound inspections
- In-process maintenance and paint inspection
- Placard conformity inspections
- Aircraft final inspections
- Interact with Customer Representatives, Maintenance and Paint Supervisors
- Verify all work is performed and documented per repair station and customer approved procedures.
- Prevent and correct in-process mistakes
- Assist in training Supervisors, Leads and technicians
- Obtain Customer Representative approval for quality of workmanship
- Complete maintenance release and return to service certification for all work performed
- Interact with Records Supervisor to ensure all issued jobs are completed and accounted for
- Complete aircraft log book entries for return to service certification
- Perform parts and materials receiving inspections
- Verify certifications of conformance and authorized release certificates match materials and parts received
- Complete receiving inspection certification forms
- Reject and quarantine non-conforming materials and parts
- Notify the Chief Inspector of any Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP)
- Perform internal quality assurance audits and compliance inspections:
- Quality assurance audits to verify compliance with company procedures
- Daily aircraft and personnel safety inspections
- Report deficiencies to the Chief Inspector
Qualifications:
- MUST have a valid DOT/FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience performing maintenance and or inspections on transport category civilian or military aircraft.
- Completion of formal aircraft systems training on multiple Boeing, Airbus, and/or McDonnell Douglas aircraft, preferred.
