Position Description:
Reports to the Technical School OIC/Technical Training Supervisor and functions as a Fuel Systems Instructor under the direct supervision of the RSAF. Determines training requirements, develops, implements and conducts training courses in accordance with RSAFM 105-31. Plans and conducts OJT in accordance with RSAFM 105-8 and 105-27. Performs other related duties as directed.
Competencies:
- Graduate of an accredited instructor/teacher training course is mandatory.
- Knowledge of aircraft fuel and in-flight refueling systems and mechanical principles applicable to aircraft fuel systems; interpretation of technical orders, diagrams, and schematics is mandatory.
- Knowledge of training techniques, methods of instruction, learning processes, training curriculum development, training evaluations, use of audio-visual training aids and training support systems/procedures
Typical Education / Experience:
- Shall have at least six (6) years experience in his profession with C-130 aircraft, with at least three (3) years as a Technical Instructor.
- Shall have practical experience within the past three (3) years.
- Should have experience in course writing and test and measurement procedures.
