Job Desc: Essential Functions And Responsibilities:

*Install, troubleshoot, inspect, test, adjust, repair, and/or modify avionics systems, sub-systems and equipment installed on aircraft.
* Perform routine maintenance, 100 Hour/Annual Inspections, and repairs/alterations on primarily piston aircraft.
*Ensure that all repairs are accomplished by approved methods and techniques and in accordance with the specifications set forth by the manufacturer in the service manuals, the Federal Aviation Regulations, service bulletins, company manuals, airworthiness directives and other data approved by the FAA.
*Ensure that all applicable repair station forms utilized are properly completed.
*Ensure good housekeeping rules are observed and that all shop-working areas are kept clean and orderly at all times.
*Ensure proper handling of parts and the preservation of all units or parts during the work process through the maintenance department.
*Required to be thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the repair station manual, FAA Regulations, Airworthiness Directives and Advisory Circulars, Manufactures Service Letters/Bulletins and engineering orders.
*Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
*Ensure that all discrepancies are signed off with all the information completed, such as part numbers, maintenance manual, ATA and Chapter, etc…
*Displays and promotes a positive attitude toward work and other employees.
*Use experience and technical expertise to assist when necessary to meet completion and production schedules and produce the quality our company has come to expect.
*Assure that all safety precautions are taken and that available protection devices are properly used at all times when applicable to the tasks performed, in order to reduce the risk of possible injury and health problems resulting from performing assigned tasks.
*Performs related work as assigned.

Requirements: Physical Demands:This work requires the following physical activities.*Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.*Working inside aircraft hangars, on the flight line and inside a variety of aircraft. Environmental Conditions:*Industrial/Hangar and flight line environment.Minimum Education Requirement:*Two or more years related experience*Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (preferred)*Must have High School Diploma Minimum Work Experience Requirement:*Two or more years demonstrated experience in aircraft avionics installations and repairs.*Working knowledge of FAR Parts 135 and 145.*Experience with single and multi-engine piston / turbine aircraft maintenance preferred.Other Requirements:*Ability to pass a drug screening test*Able to pass a background check*Clean driving recordQualifications/Special Skills and Certifications:*Results oriented – Proven ability to achieve goals. Follow through and meet deadlines; Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.*Communication – Oral Communication – speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
