All you have to do is get on board. Manage tender process within assigned product line (Sikorsky, Eurocopter, August (Bell, Boeing, etc.), Engines or Avionics. Provide technical expertise on product and service offering to Heli-One and overall project management of bid tenders and bids. Responsible for coordination with sales, operations and other internal stakeholders as well as with customer. Responsible for final bid and submission. Responsibilities: Managing tender process within specified area of technical expertise Create standardized bid platforms for routine quotations Maintain life cycle costs analysis within technical platform Track and measure lost tenders and root causes and develop appropriate follow up actions Track and measure actual performance against original tender (cost, turn around, etc.) and develop appropriate follow up actions Reviewing technical specifications for projects and ensuring appropriate scope of work Supports the sales efforts with technical expertise on products and systems to help provide a solutions-based offering to customers Provide consistent, reliable and accurate in-depth technical knowledge and support for customer specification review, design and configuration, and cost estimation Source lowest cost alternatives within H1 network to meet targets Act as a conduit and an accelerator of information exchange between customers, sales, and operations to ensure valuable and rapid response to customer requests Accompany Sales Directors or travel independently on customer visits Provide input to Design Engineering and technical innovation to maintenance as appropriate Consult with Clients after sale to provide ongoing support Resolve product and service related concerns Maintain current body of knowledge in assigned technical/platform area International travel may be required May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: Engineering degree or equivalent experience 5 – 10 years of experience in sales application engineering or an engineering role involving significant customer interaction in an OEM or MRO environment Experience in developing and writing specifications and proposals Broad knowledge of operations, supply chain and finance Familiarity with commercial terms and contract levers Prior hands on experience in an OEM and/or MRO in area of technical/platform expertise Background in maintenance programs/knowledge of life cycle costs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong computer skills Please apply ONLINE at www.heli-one.ca to be considered for this position.
