The Production Technician I-C4I Vehicle Maintenance is responsible for his/her work performed on all required assemblies. The Technician is responsible to review and understand the work instructions prior to initiating any work.
This position will be 90 days in the US and 90 days deployed, sometimes to a hostile environment under austere working conditions, in order to support maintenance operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Performs the duties as C4I vehicle support and fabrication personnel and provide technical assistance for supporting vehicle body maintenance activities on military and commercial design vehicles and equipment. • Activities include inspection, repair, refinishing of painted surfaces, fabrication of parts, and rebuilding components. • Repairs and replaces automotive upholstery, body parts, panels, and fenders. • Welds metals and cuts vehicle glass in support of the customer. • Applies fabrication technology and related knowledge to build harness and cable assemblies, modify and integrate electrical subassemblies. • Assemble and rework through-hole, surface mount, double sided, fine pitch circuit card assemblies. • Assemble and rework threaded fasteners, potted inserts and rivets. • Perform conversion coating touch up, primer and paint touch up, and various marking requirements on mechanical assemblies. • Complete records to track assembly build integration and record process parameters. • Responsible for inspection of his/her own work prior to submittal to Quality department. • Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours.

Must have active security clearance.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 3 years required with related assembly and fabrication, military or trade school experience. • Must have good customer interface skills, military background is desired, but not required. • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security clearance is required. • Must be able to obtain a US Citizen Passport.
