SNC has some of the most exciting opportunities in the business! Inspectors Aircraft (IAs) are responsible to the Chief Inspector (Director Of Maintenance/Chief of Quality/CLS Manager/Program Manager) for the efficient and economic determination of airworthiness of aircraft and proper/quality of maintenance work assigned to them to review. Performs inspection functions for aircraft, including power plant, materials, parts and subassemblies. Reviews the aircraft and engine log books (including historical records and TBOs as appropriate) at all checks and reviews all pilot/crew discrepancy reports and deferred maintenance items write-ups and corrective actions taken on appropriate work cards. Performs buy-back inspections on major items or non-routine work items. Signs off log book, pilot discrepancy reports and deferred maintenance items on completion of maintenance work. Inspects component exchanges covered by work cards during other maintenance functions. Certifies the aircraft airworthiness after an inspection by signing the appropriate aircraft release form(s). Ensures all inspections are performed as required for scheduled maintenance, aircraft modifications, or component changes to ensure that approved equipment and materials are being utilized and high standards of workmanship are being attained. Records all discrepancies found on non-routine work cards or as otherwise specified in the aircraft maintenance manual. Submits recommendations for the elimination of recurrent mechanical deficiencies determined during aircraft inspection procedures and the elimination of unnecessary maintenance procedures as determined by practical experience. Monitors all aircraft inspections record forms which are utilized in aircraft checks to ensure proper completion of all entries. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work on your knees, bend, crouch, and reach over your head. Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours.

| Requirements: | • High School diploma or equivalent required. • Associates degree preferred. • 7-15 years of experience required. • Must be FAA certified. Position will require overseas travel. When deployed oversees, technicians will typically work extensive overtime at all hours of the day and night and live in austere conditions, usually tent-city type arrangements with communal latrines and showers. This position will be 90 days in US and 90 days deployed. Possibility of 60% OCONUS travel with some overtime and CONUS travel required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5-10 years of experience is desired with maintenance experience on DoD aircraft preferred. FAA repair station experience is desired. Experience on DoD/fixed wing turboprop and rotary wing aircraft is desired. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
