SNC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Avionics Technician to support our fast growing business area. This position will be to support both operations and maintenance, within the continental US and at overseas locations. Our primary focus is on licensed technicians with extensive experience in the removal, installation and testing of all types of avionics systems and wiring. The ability to troubleshoot and repair problems related to avionics, infrared imaging systems, radio transmission and computer systems a must. Previous work experience with ISR or weapons systems a major plus with prior military experience desirable. Individual must be highly energetic, willing to work in a fast changing team focused environment. When deployed oversees, technicians will typically work extensive overtime at all hours of the day and night and live in austere conditions, usually tent-city type arrangements with communal latrines and showers. Position will require overseas travel.

| Requirements: | EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 5-10 years of experience is desired with maintenance experience on DoD aircraft. • FAA repair station experience is required. • Experience on DoD/fixed wing turboprop aircraft. • Previous military/civilian supervisory experience desired. • Ability to obtain and retain a DoD security clearance required.SKILLS REQUIRED:FCC License. Knowledge of reading, interpreting drawings, diagrams, and manuals; aircraft avionics/other systems; wire coding systems; avionics test equipment; knowledge of manuals necessary to perform job; skill to use basic hand tools, operate ground support equipment, troubleshoot engine systems, and to measure using a variety of basic and precision measuring devices relating to job function. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA. • Must have a SECRET clearance - interim is OK. *SNC is an EEO employer committed to recruiting a diverse workforce. This position will be 90 days in US and 90 days deployed. When deployed overseas, techs will typically work extensive overtime at all hours of the day and night and live in austere conditions, usually tent-city type arrangements with communcal latrines and showers. Possibility of 60% OCONUS travel with some overtime and CONUS travel required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5-10 years of experience is desired with maintenance experience on DoD aircraft preferred. FAA repair station experience is desired. Experience on DoD/fixed wing turboprop and rotary wing aircraft is desired. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Position will require overseas travel *Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required.
