INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SPECIALIST This exciting position will be responsible for developing and administering integrated logistics plans and processes. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -Responsible for ensuring that customer support requirements and objectives are achieved within budgets and schedules -Continuous improvement of standard logistics processes such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis and database development, and preventative maintenance systems -Support product, data interchange systems, demand management and related functions -Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, industry groups and professional training to continuously improve competitive position KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: -Plan logistics strategies, and establishes standard logistics processes and tools -Monitor contract logistics activities for compliance with standard processes. -Identify logistics issues and participates in developing solutions such as re-allocation of resources or modifying manufacturing or supply chain processes -Participate in progress planning and review sessions to discuss costs, schedule, and technical performance -Contribute to contract negotiations and contract modifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: -BS in related field or may substitute equivalent experience -Typical minimum experience is six years and have experience with all aspects of logistics acquisition development -The ability to integrate the separate function in planning or implementing a logistics management program -Ability to demonstrate a complete understanding and application of logistics principles, concepts, theory and practices in the government sector as related to performing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis -Ability to develop solutions to complex problems is required to be successful in the role -Strong computer, communication and interpersonal skills are also required DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: -Familiarity with Department of the Navy (DON) Logistics procedures and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) is a plus -NAVSEA Certified in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM-11) highly desirable -Experience using SLICWave for logistics management information (LMI) a strong plus OTHER PARTICULARS: -Experience with logistics support analysis with Mechanical and Electrical Components beneficial
