Responsibilities will include designing repairs for aircraft structure that are beyond the scope of repair documentation, review of service bulletins and airworthiness directives for applicability to fleet, and the generation of engineering documentation for the accomplishment of structural inspections and modifications. Additional responsibilities will include the selection of components and materials to maintain aircraft configuration, and providing detailed solutions to structural design engineering problems. Multiple positions and relocation package available.
Requirements:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is required. Alternate engineering degrees may be considered depending on work experience. Strong analytical and communication skills required. Background in aircraft structures, FAA regulations, and certification processes is required. Structural knowledge of DC-10, MD-11, B777, A330 or A300/A310 aircraft a plus.
