| Job Desc: |
Jet Aviation located at Dallas Love Field is presently seeking a fulltime Line Service Technician. This position is required to serve the needs of the customers and the requirements of their aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation policy.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
„« Fueling and de-fueling all types of aircraft on a daily basis.
„« Attach, disconnect and towing aircraft.
„« Guides aircraft during arrivals and departures, using hand signals.
„« Place red ¡§Welcome Mat¡¨ at arriving/departing aircraft. „« De-ice aircraft when necessary.
„« Services aircraft with ground support equipment as needed, i.e., AC/DC GPU for aircraft engine starts and power while on the ground; lavatory cart; oxygen/nitrogen carts; portable water carts.
„« Communicates with supervisors and Customer Service Representatives via portable radios.
„« Assists in providing aircraft with ice, coffee, catering, newspapers, and other necessary services.
„« Provides transportation for customers and pilots to/from hotels, restaurants, and/or airports using courtesy van as necessary.
„« General ground keeping (weeding, picking up trash on ramp & hangar floors, keep line shack in orderly manner).
„« Communicate courteously with customers, line service, and customer service representatives, in person and over the phone.
„« Perform data entry into our accounting system, as needed.
„« Assists the facilities department in housekeeping duties to ensure that the facility is in excellent working condition.
„« Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

| Requirements: |
Minimum requirements of education and experience:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver¡¥s license with a clean driving record; Must also be able to pass an FAA required 10-year background check; Some aviation experience is helpful but not required; Must be able to become familiar with the specific refueling requirements of each type aircraft; Must be willing to learn numerous procedures involved with aircraft, such as towing, disconnecting, proper turn radius procedures and any other related to the job; Must be able to learn and execute hand signals; and use of ramp equipment; ability to take instructions well and work in a fast-paced team environment; Since English is the language of aviation, must have good oral and written English communication skills; The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. |
