Major Responsibilities
- Software life-cycle development in accordance with DO-178B planning, requirements traceability, coding standards, and verification procedures.
- Development of software test architectures, verification processes, and test strategies for new and legacy product development.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement / Lean, DOORS, and other tools as need to meet program milestones.
- Participate in software architecture definition, proposal development, and requirements generation from high level specifications to detailed derived requirements.
- Development of test documentation necessary for FAA certification and new product release.
- Develop methodology, implement and validate automated test routines where feasible to support product development and certification
Supporting activities
- Real-time embedded software development for flight critical avionic systems in C, C++, and assembly.
- Participate in the planning and strategic development of new products and enabling software capabilities.

| Requirements: |
- MS or BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience with avionic software design and development.
- Experience with aircraft software systems, test automation, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RTCA DO-178B, FAA software certification, assembly language, C, C++, DOORS, .NET, ARM architectures, and windows GUIs are highly desired.
