Accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all the NORMARC 3625B systems on the King Air aircraft. Repairs, replaces and performs operational /functional tests on instruments, radios, navigation and aircraft control equipment, stabilization systems, avionics systems and flight calibration equipment. Troubleshoots equipment and traces avionic equipment wiring harnesses using technical manuals and schematic drawings to diagnose and isolate faults and effect repairs. Diagnose malfunctions using special and common hand tools, test measurement and diagnostic equipment. Requisition aircraft parts, and maintain shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft avionics equipment. Inspects and prepares forms and records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.Train host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the avionics/instrument systems. Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor. To supervise and inform subordinates on all flight operations and company activities. Responsible for directing assigned maintenance personnel and recognizing the strong and weak attributes of subordinates. Act as aircraft commander in all flight operations. Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS). Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office and associated programs is desirable.
