| Job Desc: |
Assists the Avionics Supervisor to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and performs intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all the instruments, electrical and avionics systems of the aircrafts. Must have a minimum 5 years working experience with aircraft avionics, electrical and instrument systems in at least one of the following helicopters: AS330 Puma, AS565 Panther. Must have a thorough understanding of and experience with common tools, special tools, hardware and equipments used in the maintenance of aircraft avionics, electrical and instrument components/systems. Must be able to troubleshoot related systems and interpret applicable wiring schematics and technical data. Repairs, replaces, and performs operational/functional tests on instruments, radios, navigation and aircraft flight control equipments, stabilization systems, avionics and aircraft electrical systems, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment. Troubleshoots equipment and traces avionic equipment wiring harnesses using technical manuals and schematic drawings to diagnose and isolate faults and effect repairs.Diagnose malfunctions in avionics operation, using special and common hand tools, test measurement and diagnostic equipment to locate the source.Removes, services, prepares, preserves, cleans, and stores avionics components.

High school graduate or equivalent. Must have current and valid documentation showing type of training or a completion of a formal avionics/electrical training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school. Military training school graduate preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate well in English language in order to read and understand technical publications. |
