As a member of the Aviation and Logistics Team, the new Director of Capture Management will be responsible for seeking, identifying, and capturing new business opportunities within C3 and Aviation’s Aviation and Logistics line of business.   Once captured, the Director of capture management will support the operations team in transitioning the new business into the execution phase. The Director of capture management will apply experience in the planning, management and conduct of capture opportunities. Successfully lead the capture of multiple aviation lifecycle support efforts including tasks such as opportunity assessments, developing and implementing strategies following rigorous processes, conducting meetings with senior customer representatives and leading pursuit teams.

The new Director of Capture management will provide the leadership necessary to mount campaigns aimed at capturing specific business opportunities with emphasis on new program capture. Assesses the short term and long term trends of the respective market segment and advises leadership of specific actions to capitalize on these trends. Analyzes requirements, needs and resources. Establishes clear goals and objectives for pursuit teams.   Provides customer, competitor and market intelligence related to pursuits undertaken by the organization. The successful candidate participates in both the capture and implementation of operational plans for the new business. 

BS/BA in business or a technical field related to aircraft maintenance and modification. Must have at least 15 years experience in leading organizations focused on aircraft maintenance and modification. Must have demonstrated success in leading large geographically distributed teams in both the pursuit and execution phase of medium to large aircraft support programs supporting the U.S. defense and/or Homeland Security departments.
