The Avionics Installation Technician must:


* Have a strong understanding of interfacing, troubleshooting, and the installation of the latest avionics equipment.

* Install, modify and upgrade all avionics systems in a efficient and safe manner as directed.

* Must be able to perform assigned task with minimal supervision.

* Quality of work must meet or exceed requirements as outlined in the customers‘ Company Inspections Procedures Manual.

* Have the ability to find the needed information in various publications to establish standards and verify repairs, modifications and installations of avionics systems.

* Assist with general aircraft inspections as needed.

* Have excellent organizational and communication skills.

* Have the ability to read, write and understand the English language.

* Have excellent verbal communication skills.

* Be able to effectively present information to supervisor and shift lead.

* Provide own tools.

* Be able and willing to work a flexible schedule including overtime.

* Possess good Team building skills.

* Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Completion of electronic technician school or equivalent experience.
2. Must Pass Skills Assessment Test
3. 6 years applicable experience in Commercial Helicopters
4. Ability to interpret Wiring diagrams and Installation drawings.
5. Proficient knowledge of FAA Regulations and Avionics equipment manuals
6. Proficient knowledge of Avionics hand tools and test equipment.
7. Proficient in soldering
8. Ability to effectively use the English language, both oral and written, to communicate information to others.
