Represents client in a specific geographical area regarding the sales and lease of aircraft and related services under direction of the Director of Sales.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Perform follow up on sales leads generated by prospect/customer calls, aircraft demonstration tours and/or "cold calls". 2. Maintain contact with customers by regular and/or periodic visits to their sites. 3. Assist in the development of marketing and sales strategies and forecasts to remain competitive in constant changing market conditions. 4. Perform aircraft demonstrations and ferry responsibilities as required. 5. Compile data and prepare market analysis and forecast presentations for quarterly marketing meetings. 6. Attend local and national trade shows and exhibits for purposes of developing new business contacts and general public relations activity. 7. Maintain knowledge of competitor’s products and sales activities, and possesses an awareness of the comparison to products. 8. Assist in the recommendation of policy change as it relates to advertising and promotions. 9. Prepare and submit timely/accurate reports including detailed customer prospect contacts, expense reports and plans for upcoming week. 10. Compile data and prepare formal and informal presentations for prospective customers. 11. Monitor personal travel budget to operate within company guidelines. 12. Interface with the Marketing Services department to ensure that aircraft deliveries are in accordance with customer and company standards as required. 13. Education
Bachelors degree in marketing, management and/or equivalent in education and experience.
Experience
Requires a minimum of five years direct marketing/sales experience in aircraft/helicopters. Prior experience as helicopter pilot is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Strong sales and marketing techniques are required. Able to compose clear and concise written documentation and the ability to read and interpret various types of technical drawings, data and specifications. Ability to travel frequently in accomplishment of assigned tasks.
