Requirements
VSC is looking for a qualified candidate to provide source inspection support in the Tucson, AZ area. This project has a workload of 20 hours/week initially, and eventually will reduce to 1 - 2 days/week so flexibility is key.
Requirements
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings, purchase orders and blueprints
· Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc)
· Working knowledge of GD&T to ANSI Y 14.5
· Familiar with ISO9001:2000, AS9100B Quality Management Systems
· Must have hands-on experience performing mechanical inspections
· Minimum of 1 year of inspection experience within the past 3 years
· Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
· Completed at least 4 FAI inspections in the recent past
· Knowledge of AS 9102 Specification
· Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Internet and Email
· Good communication and writing skills
· Comfortable working as Independent Contractor (1099 Tax Form)
