This position will work as a Sheetmetal Technician in our Indianapolis facility. The successful candidates will be a project-level technician with a working knowledge of aviation sheetmetal. It is the responsibility of the technician to perform assigned duties safely and in a manner that will ensure airworthiness of the aviation product being maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: •Proficient in minor, intermediate, and major repairs, modifications and service bulletins. •Highly proficient in fabrication, cold working, flap peening and jacking/shoring aircraft. •Highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs. •Must be able to read and work from a Structural Repair Manual. •Must have own toolbox with aviation related tools. •Insure work performed adheres to high quality standards. •Effectively direct the work of less experienced mechanics
