| Job Desc: |
Duties: • Perform the removal, inspection, documentation, repair, and reinstallation of critical aircraft systems and structures, including: vertical and horizontal tail sections, all flight control surfaces (flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder), landing gear, cargo ramp and cargo door. • Inspects adjustments, structural and electrical repairs or modifications made on the aircraft in accordance with applicable aircraft Technical Orders (T.O.), TCTO‘s, Workcards and aircraft structural repair manuals. • Personnel will perform organizational and depot level maintenance, heavy aircraft equipment removal and installations, major and minor isochronal inspections, corrosion treatment, aircraft modifications, and aircraft alignment and systems functional checks. • Performs inspection of aircraft systems, equipment and parts for operation and conformance to government and company standards and specifications. • Inspects the installation, repair and operation of electrical wiring, electronic systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil and emergency systems and other parts and equipment of aircraft.

| Requirements: |
Qualifications: 1. Must have current A&P license. 2. 5 to 10 years recent aircraft experience in performing program depot maintenance (PDM) (Heavy “D” Checks) on large aircraft, C-130 experience preferred. 3. Proficient in blueprint reading / interpretation and shop mathematics. 4. Working knowledge of FOD & Tool Control, Technical Orders (T.O.), TCTO‘s, and Aircraft Maintenance Information Systems. Note: additional training will be provided at facility. 5. Must be able to work in and around confined spaces such as fuel tanks. (Confined space and respirator certification preferred) 6. Possess effective writing skills for duties such as documenting discrepancies found. 7. Must have effective communication skills to deal with the customer and Government inspectors. 8. Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop and stand to accomplish assignments. 9. Must be able to work any shift and work flexible and extended hours. |
