GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
1. Prepare, negotiate and administer multiple contracts, as well as other formal business relationships with a variety of major US, Saudi and International customers.
2. Mentor and coach more junior contracts officers.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Identify and assess all areas of program/contractual risk and develop alternative strategies for management review.
2. Provide recommendations to senior management regarding key financial/business/contractual issues.
3. Define and draft appropriate contractual provisions/documents to achieve business relationship and objectives.
4. Provide early identification of potential performance issues/disputes and identify alternative courses of action.
5. Identify all customer directions and actions with potential for appropriate schedule/financial contract adjustments.
6. Interface with customers on financial and contractual issues and business development opportunities.
7. Review and negotiate basic contractual agreements.
8. Participate in the business discussion with potential customer or partner in pursuit of business opportunities.
9. Advise and direct other contracts staff on interpretation and resolution of contractual issues.
