Quality Control Supervisor
1. Specialty Summary
Thorough knowledge of Quality Control function is mandatory. Completion of basic course in general aircraft maintenance is mandatory. Knowledge of USAF/RSAFM 66-1, coupled with applicable technical manuals is mandatory. Completion of a Quality Control course is mandatory.
- Duties and responsibilities
a. Be knowledgeable of the maintenance and quality management concepts
b. Coordinate with and advise the RSAF Quality Control Superintendent to ensure all defined inspections; evaluations, investigations, and assessments are accomplished.
c. Review documents and reports for accuracy and meeting established suspense’s.
d. Ensure QC personnel are trained by identifying and acting on QC training problems and including possible solutions.
e. Administer, manage and maintain the Quality Assurance Inspector Evaluation (QAIE) process.
f. Supervise the Functional Check Flight, weight and balance and maintenance impoundment programs.
g. Brief the QC Flt Commander/manager on significant inspection trends and assessment findings.
h. Assist maintenance managers and supervisors when requested and advise where necessary on quality issues.
