This is a pre-award of contract posting for PROGRAM MANAGERS specializing in MISSILE AND AVIATION SYSTEMS and RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT. Effectively plans, coordinates and manages contract actions as required by the government customer related to MISSILE AND AVIATION system hardware design, fabrication, assembly including test methods, techniques and processes. Determines both technical and business goals in consultation with top management by developing detailed program management milestones schedules. Provides management oversight of all contract personnel to ensure SOW-compliant task completion of deliverables. Directs assigned project team personnel and manages costs and schedules to ensure contract compliance. Directs the work of technical, manufacturing and administrative employees. Exercises strong verbal, written and listening communication skills to interacts with government customer, contract personnel, supervisors, subcontractors, support personnel, and management. Acts as the primary customer contact for program activities including program review sessions, product line enhancement and/or expansion development meetings, concept design efforts, engineering initiatives for product RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, INTEGRATION AND TESTING. Strong advocate to offer innovative solutions to meet and exceed the expectations of the government customer.

| Requirements: | Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area of academic study from an accredited college or university. 10+ years of proven experience related to complex missile and/or aviation system hardware design, fabrication, assembly, and test methods, techniques and processes. 5+ years of proven experience interpreting contract actions, modifications and resolving complex programmatic issues as related to the SOW. Must have proven analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Must have program management experience to gain internal support and to operate independently without supervision or feedback. PMI Certification highly desirable. We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing. |
