Pilot Instructor
Job Summary:
The AWACS Pilot Instructor is responsible for training and evaluating pilots in basic and advanced procedures including: evaluations, currency check flights, transition training and proficiency rides.
Principal Accountabilities:
Academic teaching using all ancillary. Preparing and applying training scenarios on simulator. Coordination with technical bodies concerned with maintenance and operations for training purposes. Continued updating and reviewing curriculums to address developments as needed. Assist in developing training levels to detect repair defects. Preparing reports and training forms for aviation rack commander. Explain and discuss before and after a flight the result rating used to determine whether or not each pilot in the aircrew should be certified to fly or requires additional training before certification. Working in squadron sections as per squadron commander’s instructions.
OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performing additional jobs assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge with training systems manuals in air forces. Knowledge with personal computer applications (Word � Excel � Power Point) in order to fulfill training requirements. Knowledge with all manuals regulating theoretical and practical training process in air forces and explaining local and international aviation systems.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/push/pull minimum of 50 pounds. Work is outdoors with weather conditions of extreme heat and humidity. Travel as required.
Experience:
7 years experience in early warning and fueling aircrafts. 3 years experience as aviation instructor. 2 year minimum continuing in practicing the same specialty. Experience in seventh or ninth technical level. Experience in academic teaching and curriculums preparation.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in air science.
