JOB TITLE: Vice President of Government Business Development

LOCATION: Evergreen International Aviation / Washington D.C.

REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President, Washington DC - Evergreen International Aviation, Washington D.C.

REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience marketing to the most senior levels of government. Position requires an established track record of success in business development and significant contacts in the assigned market segments. Must be able and willing to travel, be a self-starter, and have excellent communication skills. Position requires significant experience in capture management and proposal development. Candidate must be based in Washington DC.

EXPERIENCE: 5 years marketing experience, ability to work with little supervision. Experience in the Transient Alert , military logistics , and writing contract proposals to be considered. Aviation ground handling operation experience perferred.

EDUCATION: BS degree required; Graduate degree is a plus

KNOWLEDGE: Government Aviation Ground Handling Operation and Transient Alert entities with knowledge of associated procurement processes. Requires significant contacts in the industry.

SKILLS: MS Word, MS Excel, team oriented and self directed ability to develop customer leads, excellent communication skills, internet research.

DUTIES: Responsible for promoting Evergreen International Aviation services to US Transit Alert entities. Work with Evergreen International Aviation Operations and Maintenance to ensure top quality service. Prepare (assist in the preparation) of Evergreen International Aviation proposals. Support project management efforts may be required of the employee at the discretion of the department management.
