Job Description: The position is responsible to perform aircraft sheet metal and composite repairs. Utilizing detailed blueprints, the incumbent will fabricate, remove and install various aircraft sheet metal, composite parts and structure.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

1. Utilize detailed blue prints to determine pieces to be fabricated and installed.
2. Layout and fabricate aircraft parts such as ribs, stringers, doublers etc using standard sheet metal, and composite repair techniques; utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, dial calipers and scales
3. Coordinate with Shift Lead and Engineering on changes to the blue prints.
4. Properly identify areas in need of repair and properly remove and install aircraft parts in a timely fashion
5. Utilize fabrication machines including drill press, forming tools breaks and shears

1. Ability to read and interpret blue prints, sealant applications, adhesive applications, fastener installation/removal, solid and blind rivet removal/installation, safety wire installation, insert installation/removal, electrical bonding procedure, general structure layout, hi-Loc removal/installation, close tolerance drilling and reaming, cutting and shaping metals.
2. Capable to work with little or no direct supervision
3. Good communication skills
4. Knowledge of Helicopters is desirable but not required.
5. Some computer skills are desirable.
6. Must be a US Citizen and ability to pass a 10 year background check.
