Job Summary:

The AWACS Technical Instructor of Air Reconnaissance is responsible for the training several areas that pertain to detecting and repair defects related to the reconnaissance and surveillance of the aircraft.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide basic and continuous training of officers at air reconnaissance and surveillance systems..
  • Train RSAF soldiers on mission simulation systems.
  • Initiate and provide advice to increase training standards. Uncover errors and provide solutions.
  • Continuously develop and update curriculum and examinations for various courses according to the new addition and development of the system.
    OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform additional jobs assigned in squadron sections as per squadron commander’s instructions.

  • Requirements: Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of personal computer applications (Word � Excel � Power Point) to fulfill training requirements.
  • Knowledge of RSAF Training Manuals.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/push/pull minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Work is outdoors with weather conditions of extreme heat and humidity.

    Experience:

  • 7 years experience on AWACS or related aircraft.
  • 3 years experience as a technical instructor of reconnaissance.
  • Experience in academic teaching and curriculum preparation.

    Education:

    Bachelor�s degree in an associated discipline.
