EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A&P license required. 5 – 10 years experience desired working on turboprop aircraft. 3 years experience desired working on PT6A engines with engine rigging and troubleshooting background. 3 – 10 years experience desired troubleshooting airframe systems. 5 years experience with sheet metal repairs
SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience in doing aircraft sheet metal repairs. Knowledge of completing form 337 for major repairs or major alterations. Knowledge in the use of sheet metal tools, reamers, drilling techniques, bend allowance, proper rivet spacing and types of fasteners used in repairs. Knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, AMM’s, IPC’s, CMM’s, SB’s, SL’s and AD’s. Knowledge of looking up aircraft SB’s and AD’s. Knowledge of properly signing off aircraft documentation. Knowledge of the required paper work that should come with parts that are being replaced on aircraft. Knowledge of CFR FAR parts 91, 65 and 43. Knowledge of operating aircraft ground support and equipment. Knowledge of aircraft fueling/defueling operations.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a DOD secret security clearance required. Willing to relocate to Clovis New Mexico. Travel/Deploy 70% of the year. Able to pass physical. Able to lift 70lbs. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA. Must be proficient using computers.
