| Job Desc: |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES Provide flight test, project engineering and technical management for Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) project(s). Work as a primary point of contact within a team environment and with major subcontractor(s) as well as customers in integrating a variety of unmanned aerial vehicle systems. Interface with subcontractors, associate contractors and DoD customers. Perform planning and coordination for ground and flight test. Develop and present flight test cards, PowerPoint packages and technical documents. Maintain schedules and coordinate internal activities of engineers assigned to the project as well as subcontractor activities. Write memos and reports to document test results MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Engineering degree plus a minimum of six (6) years of engineering experience. Must have practical working knowledge of unmanned vehicle systems. Design and/or systems experience including one or more of the following: Ground based control systems, RF data links, computing subsystems, display and HMI components, software systems. Experience writing technical documents (ICDs, specifications, test plans, etc.). Experience guiding teams to complete systems/subsystems development from prototype to production. Experience managing systems, budgets and schedules DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Self-motivated requiring minimal supervision. The successful applicant will be a multi-tasking team player with a hands-on approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. UAV operations/flight test experience. Must be able to qualify for a security clearance.
