We are seeking Avionics Technicians to work for an organization known for its world-class airframe and engine maintenance, state-of-the art avionics installations, custom interior refurbishment and completions, along with a full-service FBO.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical to troubleshoot, repair, inspect, evaluate and install avionic systems, aircraft electrical systems, aircraft wiring and equipment per Repair Station practices and procedures.
- Insures that tools and test equipment has current calibration.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties.
- Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Completes paperwork per Repair Station practices and procedures.
- Performs proper termination of installed wiring per Aircraft AMM.
- Performs wiring continuity and power checks.
- Detects errors and correct through proper departmental channels.
- Insures work is completed in a timely manner.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Crew Chief, Avionics.
