Description
Within the site aircraft maintenance function, supervise and coordinate: Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing maintenance quality systems within established FAA, company and customer standards. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.

Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of five years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience as practicing FAA A&P with five (5) years in Aircraft Quality Control/Assurance and have supervisory/management experience.
- Three (3) years of Beech King Air 200, C-12 or 1900 or similar airframe experience to experience required
- A current FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate required; Inspection Authorization (IA) required
- Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required. CONUS and OCONUS deployment may be required
- Must be able to work in the established work/living environment, work a schedule of 7 days, 12 hour shifts as assigned to support mission requirements.
- Must be in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires DOD Secret (may be higher for contract), be physically able to qualify, no major medical problems, to deploy OCONUS through CRC to hazardous area with limited medical facilities. Must pass company background check and drug test.
