The Senior Engineer - Structures is responsible for all aspects of design, documentation, and installation tasks on Transport Category Aircraft for Interior Completion STC projects and smaller modifications for Executive Aircraft undergoing Maintenance Operations under our Part 145 delegation. The Lead will be responsible for subordinate design engineers and managing all related outsourcing of structural design services as well as developing all organizational standards, methods and processes. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · Creates designs for interior completions in accordance with aircraft manufacturer guidelines and engineering best practices · Interfaces with structural, mechanical systems, interior, avionics and electrical design engineers to ensure certifiable designs in support of Interior Modification STCs for Large Transport category Aircraft (14 CFR Part 25) · Develops and supports compliance requirements for certification projects · Supports design needs related to the Maintenance business enterprise for 14 CFR Part 23 executive aircraft under our Part 145 delegation · Leads subordinate design engineers · Generates and maintains execution plans, schedules and supporting budgets for projects · Provides and/or coordinates the technical interface to key Outside Service Vendors (OSV). · Contributes to and develops Internal Operating Procedures (IOP) |

| Requirements: | · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 8 years of directly related experience or 12 years directly related experience · Minimum six (6) years of experience in Aircraft Completions, Project Planning, Management, and Certification · Experience implementing management & administration tools, systems, and training for project control, tracking and reporting · Regular attendance is required · Must have a positive attitude · Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance · Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located · Must Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets our company’s insurance standards · Must pass 10 year background check and drug test REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Ability to document design and installation clearly and concisely · Proficient with the following software: o Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. o AutoCAD Must have the ability to interact with a wide range of customer groups, both internal and external · Must be able to communicate technical issues in an assertive and tactful manner · Must possess excellent oral and written skills, as well as strong analytical abilities. · Results oriented. · Ability to work in a team environment. · Ability to prioritize workload. |
